Drove from Barcaldine (Tree of Knowledge, wonderful Museum) through Blackall (Woolscour, Mineral Spa), Augathella and finally Charleville. Set up the van at the Bailey Bar Van Park then visited the Information Centre (exceptional service) - there are many interesting attractions here.
The road surface to-day was the worst in the entire trip - constant depressions, crests, pot-holes and road-kill. It was a very tiring drive and a real challenge to overtake a slower triple roadtrain.
We are here for three nights.
