The day began with a very interesting tour of the iron ore mine - the guide explained the whole process as we drove through the actual operational areas of the mine.
Lyn and I then drove to the summit of Mt Nameless for a great view. Back to the van for lunch then to King Lake (this is a most unusual recreational area centred on the sewage treatment ponds - no swimming, no wading in the water!).
We then drove to the very beautiful Hamersley Gorge. On the way back we came to an intersection, waited for an on-coming vehicle to make its turn only to realise that it was Lance & Dell - another incredible coincidence!! They booked into their site near us and we enjoyed dinner together.
