To-day we visited the Cycad gardens in Katherine - this is a story of one couple's dream - they started in a very small way and have built this into a successful export business.
We also went to Edith Falls which is about 60km NE of Katherine.
The first walk was to the top pool and this was a magnificent place. We next walked to the lower 'pool' - people were swimming here - the advice at the information centre was that this is home to some Johnson River crocodiles (harmless??!!) and the odd 'saltie' has appeared here as well - we stayed a respectful distance from the waters edge.
